B. CAMP ORKILA GARDEN
Located in a beautiful valley, this innovative garden produces flowers, veggies, herbs and fruit. Created to teach young people about gardening, it also provides food for the camp. Explore the specialty gardens: the Three Sisters garden, pizza garden and tea-making garden. Look for fruit trees, the berry garden, rose garden, vegetable beds and herb garden.
C. ELIZABETH STAR GARDEN
Tucked amidst a shady forest setting, this lovely ornamental and flower garden features a wide variety of flowers, fruits, herbs and vegetables. Colorful flowers spill out of dozens of pots along the deck. Visit the cutting garden, rose garden, herb garden, fruit trees and berry garden.
D. FARM TO CAFETERIA SCHOOL GARDEN
Designed to teach K-6 students about sustainable gardening methods, this garden helps children learn how to create beautiful plants for birds, bees, butterflies and people. Look for vegetable beds, tea and medicinal gardens, herb spiral, native plants, perennial flowers, shiitake mushroom logs, worm and com- post bins, art murals, greenhouse and adobe oven.
E. WENDY THOMAS GARDEN
Designed by Sam Bullock, this delightful flower and veggie garden features friendly farm animals. Stroll the charming stone pathways to see lovely perennial beds, vegetable gardens, ornamental and fruit trees. Spend some time exploring the new barn and meet the delightful goats.
F. ORCAS FARM
Set in a picturesque valley, this working farm produces an abundance of veggies, fruits and flowers using natural methods. Enter the garden through a magnificent Zach Leck gate to visit the lovely perennial beds, explore the kitchen herb garden, the greenhouses and vegetable beds.

ORCAS ISLAND GARDEN CLUB
The Garden Club is a non-profit organization that promotes knowledge and love of gardening, cooperates in the protection and conservation of nature, and assists in the beautification of the community. It doesn’t matter if you are new to gardening or an old “pro”, the Garden Club has something for everyone. Each meeting features an expert presentation on some aspect of island gardening. Everyone is welcome at our meetings which happen at 10:00 am on the third Wednesday of each month (except July and August) in the Madrona Room at Orcas Center.
